BELOVITCH
VISUAL ARTIST

Belovitch is an uncanny individual. Belovitch’s work questions polarising viewpoints and universally agreed on associations. Working in multiple mediums: installation, interactive art, digital art, video projection, painting, and sculpture. The work varies between minimal pieces, complex multidimensional otherworldly forms. The work often focuses on identity and the role of the individual in regards to the whole is often explored.
Belovitch is a joyful cynic. Her art is emotional, gritty, dark, funny and social/political, optimistic, and nihilist. The work has an overarching sense of morality that questions itself. She utilises universal symbols like circles, every piece utilises colour to convey a message. No matter what medium, always inspired by big ideas.
Recently finished the Dreamtime Fellowship at Spike Island supported by Luke Jerram. Since she exhibited at Keep Art It and took part in The Vestibules residency via Artspace Lifespace. Showing her first solo show.
